The theme of Leonardas Pilkauskas' latest work, the album "How Deep Is Her Voice," is the human voice as the most beautiful instrument in the universe and a reflection of a unique self. However, the concept is implemented differently than one might anticipate, using more imagination than the straightforward method of showcasing beautiful voices.

The album's central theme is the voice. Only 50 percent of the album's songs have vocals, though. Vilija Matačiūnaitė, Egidija Mačiulytė, Egle Petrošiūtė or Gintarė Skerytė are not given a clear, evident pedestal or encouragement to display a broader technical arsenal, range, or strength by the composer. L. Pilkauskas, relying on the vocal magic, emphasizes the very participation of the voice as well as the distinctive color and vitality of the singer as a valuable and reassuring suggestion of music.
